As I look at the dramatic increase in overweight or under motivated people I wonder how they could have survived in the days when people were responsible for their own selves and their own family. Birth control, ovulating, pregnant?

ok this is the situation my doc gave me provera to get my period to start and gave yasmin birth control to take after my period. i was told that depending on the birth control it can take a month to be effective. So before all of this i would have my period every 4-6 months so i wasn't ovulating the way im suppose too. Since i took provera i wont be ovulating for a month or two thou i had a period. Now ive started the birth control process to regulate my periods but i was wondering if i would stop taking the birth control would i go back to being irregular and not ovulating??? i would like to start getting ready to get pregnant after-wards...so thanks anything will help!!

Rabbit Burrowing question?

I've noticed that my my male rabbit, Bruno, likes to burrow in our little sand area and then lay down in it.. His new hutch is located in that area and we are going to soon make access to the bottom so he can eat gr/ be in the sand to cool down. The only think is, is that I dont want him to burrow and get out. I'm alright if he burrows, but I know placing anything above ground wont stop him from getting out.. What are some good ways to release emotions?

I am trying to get my life in order. I do many things to release my negative emotions, by smoking, cutting and making myself sick (I've been in counseling so don't suggest that please). Also i recall my friend having her monthly visitor very very late and she ended up having an infection (not an STD) but it does happen. The last resort is to use notes or recordings of the lecture but only if you have to.

I love the plastic ones for their easy of cleaning and lights and sounds. And also the fact that they come with cute accessories ect. However I feel that they are SOOO overpriced for their actual size. The "lifestyles" ones are the ones I've been looking at and I cant pick on I like. The huge walk in one is too big. They have a larger and a "regular" sized one sided version. I saw the smaller of the two at toysrus and it seemed miniscule up on the shelf. We are getting it for our daughter for xmas. She will b 1 1/2 at the time, so I obviously want something that can either grow with her; or I wont feel bad about replacing. I've also been looking at the wodden kitchen from kidkraft, the Large Pastel Kitchen. I am concerned about spending $200 now and then in 3-4 years having to replace it because it is in terrible condidtion. She isnt rough with things (yet) but who knows. And we often have friends with kids comming over and they would of course play with it. I also am thinking of going with a smaller plastic one for now just because of the general size of them. I have two rabbits, do not know what they are, but I got both of them more than 6 months ago. Should I go talk to a therapist?

I have been going through a lot lately. Towards the end of last year my parents got a divorce. A lot happened before they got divorced but I won't go into all the details. What happened before they got divorced happened for five months. My mom kicked my dad out because he was hurting all of us (my mom, my brother, me, and my grandparents) emotionally. My dad has recently been admitted to a mental health clinic where he will be for 6 months. A couple of my friends asked if I thought about seeing somebody and my grandpa suggests my brother and I see somebody. However, my family isn't in the best financial situation right now. We are lucky if we can pay rent and afford gas. I do work at a job but it doesn't pay a lot of money ($7.68 an hour). I have been told that I seem to be handling things okay by my grandmother. Although one of my friends thinks that I have been distant because I have had a lot on my mind. It's true that I have had a lot on my mind lately. These past few months I have felt kind of down in the dumps. At times I would listen to depressing music and once I self injured. I have thought about self injuring lately but have told myself not to do it. My heart was also broken so that didn't help with the sadness factor. I had nightmares on and off since the summer involving my dad (once with my dad lighting the house on fire, once with him and another woman and me screaming at them, etc.). Part of me would like to talk to someone but part of me would think that it would just make things worse. I don't always like talking to people about my problems because I am afraid they won't be understanding and that I'll get emotional (I've been told ever since I was little that I was emotional). I also don't want people to know/find out that I am going to a therapist. I am afraid they will think I am crazy. I have talked to my friends lately. Some of them have been more understanding than others. However, I don't want to feel like I am constantly bombarding them with my problems. What should I do and should I go see a therapist?

You are caught up in a very hurtful cycle. Deep down, I do not feel that what a person who has been treated so horribly is really feeling LOVE for that person. I know this is morbid, but even in a hospital, after doing EVERYTHING BENEFICIAL to resuscitate the deceased, but nothing is correcting the situation- the code is eventually "called". I've endured some really rough times, but prefer to leave it behind, really learn from my mistakes & live my life to the fullest. Pain DOES fade with time.
