Ok I'm Muslim, and don't recognize these verses- but if they are there in the Quran, I think you must be misinterpreting them. Atheists are unbelievers. Period. Obviously, our religion is...against that. I think what the verse is saying is that protecting one another is encouraged in times of calamity.
