Atheist Chaplain In Military?

There can be no such thing as an Atheist Chaplain. By simple definition a Chaplain has dedicated his life to God. Therefore he believes and cannot be an Atheist. However, a Chaplain of any religion is always more than willing to talk to one of God's children. Even if the child doesn't believe in God, a chaplain will still listen, console, counsel, aid or simply write a letter home to mom or dad from a soldier. A good Chaplain, and most that I have met in the military are exemplary, doesn't care your belief, he just wants to help and be there when needed.
