Do you think "Go Ask Alice" is a real diary? why or why not?

I also totally disagree with the language argument, however I cannot disagree with the Library of Congress, which clifies this title as fiction. That doesn't make it a less compelling read but it certainly helps to explain the density of the anti-drug message. Make no mistake, I love the book but it is just a bit over the top, and some of the cirstances are downright preposterous. I wish that it hadn't pretended to be non-fiction, I've never liked being gamed.
