What would be a good fifties car for a route 66 road trip that I could pick up for 10 grand or less.?

Planning on going on a old school road trip, i'm heavily into cars, but i'm drawing a blank, and seeing as I'm currently in germany, i'm not quite sure how the market is in the states. I love the 54 montereys, the chrysler new yorkers, hudon hornets, the early fifties pontiacs, and the kaisers, any more suggestions? please include a general idea of how much they will cost. Need something very reliable too, the road trip isn't for quite a while yet, just planning ahead. Edsels rock too.
