I need help with ceramics?

leather hard is correct, but you have to cut your sections when the clay is plastic, or wet, you emble the sections with slip as your glue when leather hard, this would be if you are making a box , so you use clay in different states of dryness for all , so what your teacher might be trying to tell you is ,all answers all All correct, depending on what you are making
