Can someone help me with my new Crowntail Betta Fish?

No offense, but I think you should try and read up a little bit more before you start buying fish... I also have a Crown-tail betta, his name is Santeria, and before i bought him, I set up his tank three weeks in advance! That includes his gravel, driftwood (fake), his fake plants, and of course his water. This has nothing to do with your Betta's food... It is caused by lack of experience, and research.
