PLEASE HELP!! we have been dating 1 month and...?

he told me he loves me. he is a very busy guy, but made time for me some evenings the past few weeks and would return my texts pretty promptly. well, sunday i asked what was wrong and he said "nothing babe, i just have a lot on my plate right now, just bear with me" and when i'll text him now, he sometimes doesn't respond...but still always calls me at least once a day. i asked when i could see him next and he has not responded yet today. he told me he loves me last week though. he also said hunting season is starting and he will be busy a lot with scouting for deer and getting ready but for me not to freak out. am I just over reacting??
