Why does my powerbook g4 mac run the videos slow?

So before it worked perfect until like a week ago whn I watch youtube it will load the video and then when I play it the video is like in slow motion. If anyone can help please I'm so tired of having problem after problem with different computers! I got quicktime too this is my first mac and I have no idea how they work so please please someone help
