Does clindamycin affect birth control?

I am on my second day of taking Clindamycin for an infection in one of my teeth. My dentist and pharmacist said my antibiotic won't affect my yasmin birth control, but some sites online say it does. I started taking the antibiotic Sunday morning and had Saturday night with a condom as well. I won't be having for about 2 weeks (no drive week before my withdrawal bleed, and don't want during withdrawal bleed.) It would be my fertile time if not on the pill, does that matter? My boyfriend and I had twice a week ago and used condoms then as well. (No condoms broke or had holes, we check afterward.) I am on my 7th month on the pill. I have only taken 6 pills of the antibiotic and will be stopping it tomorrow since my dentist appointment is tomorrow, so it was just a 2 day cycle of antibiotics. Please let me know if you know if it affects the pill. I have no had since starting the antibiotic, just the day before and was with a condom. Help me out if anyone knows.
